Hey!
I think it's important for me to share my background and journey so you can determine if we might be a great fit. So be sure to keep reading.
Many people like to equate me to a silent sniper. While I'm not much of a BIG talker, I get things done and I hit the target. 12+ years ago, I had no clue about executive assistance, being administrative, or any of the things I support women with now, but I had a gift. I've always been organized and I always found myself in the background of organizations working behind the scenes to bring visions to life.
My journey officially began in 2012 serving organizations with executive assistance and program management in Atlanta, GA. However, growing up, in Memphis, TN, I always wanted to teach, so I began my career as a Special Educator for 6th-8th grade students in 2014. While I enjoyed the work, I knew there was much more. I wanted to help meet the needs and I realized I couldn't fully do this while trying to teach curriculum standards and manage behavior. So, I went to school while growing my family.
I hold a Bachelor's in Sociology with a Social Work concentration. I have a Master's in Social Work and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. I really do enjoy helping people improve their lives and well-being and one thing I am going to do is advocate for change. So I spend a lot of time studying human behavior and organizations. I identify gaps and come up with ways to fill them. I also understand the importance of mental health and well-being.
Now, Here I Am
In 2019, I began building out what you see today, The Empire Effect Agency. From General Virtual Assistance to Executive Assistance to Social Media Management to Operations, and Customer Service Management, I've helped service providers, product-based business owners, clinicians, non-profit leaders, ministry leaders, and marketing agencies maximize their impact and become one step closer to meeting their goals.
Currently, I offer three main services: Executive Virtual Assistance, Online Business Management, and Customer Service Management. I enjoy each one and look forward to waking up each day to help others become more productive, focused, and organized.
But enough about that. Here's a little about my personal life. I am happily married to my favorite prayer warrior and we have 3 little boys. I understand the importance of "work-life balance" or what I simply call prioritizing the things that matter most, God, my spouse, my children, and then everything else. In my spare time, if I'm not on the playground, you can probably find me speed-reading a book, singing, or solo-traveling to a conference or event. If it was up to me, I'd be at an all-inclusive resort on a beach somewhere sunny for half of the year living my best boy-mom life.
